The following words, terms and phrases, when used in this division, shall have the meanings ascribed to them in this section, except where the context clearly indicates a different meaning.
FIREARM. Except as otherwise specifically defined in this division, includes any weapon from which a dangerous projectile may be propelled by using explosives, gas or air as a means of propulsion.
