§ 13. NEW STATE CONSTITUTION.

  • It is recognized that, at the time of the drafting and adoption of this Charter, and on its effective date, there was in preparation and awaiting the vote of the people of Michigan, a proposed new State Constitution. In so far as such Constitution, if the same be adopted and becomes effective, is inconsistent with the provisions of this Charter, such provisions shall be subject to and governed by such constitution and general laws enacted in compliance therewith and no amendment of this Charter shall be required to make the provision of this section effective.
